Adolph Engel produced not only cards but other products including toy board games and cut-outs.
The firm was absorbed by Aristophot Leipzig in 1902 but returned to Berlin when Aristphot was taken over by Albrecht & Meister in 1909. See in The Postcard Album web site in the references. Some cards, including ones featuring the model in AE 2208, were reissued with Aristophot (AL) numbers.
