Lederer & Popper, Prague/Leipzig

Josef Lederer & Rudolf Popper, Prague was the home site. Logos are L.& P., L.& P.P., and the triangles with L&P and LP. One series of L&P postcards was views of cities with montage figures, often in humorous positions, see lederer-popper-montage-postcards-of-galicia-and-beyond.

The first example is an image from Rotophot (RPH 3193) but printed, and the Christmas tree on the left has been added to the image. The second example is probably also from a Rotophot image.

Lederer & Popper almost certainly were the publishers of the Lepo marque.Some of their cards have "lepogravure" or "lepo-iris" just above the LP-in-a-triangle logo. Lepo cards date from around 1930 and have very plain backs.
