Yolande (J Courcier Paris)

Card 428 identifies the publisher as J GOURGIER Paris, evidently a misprint for J Courcier, as the address is that of Courcier (see under JC logo) and other cards spell it correctly. Some cards omit the name altogether, eg card 426. These certainly look like WW1 "patriotic" cards, and Yolande produced these, but 426 was actually posted in 1913. Maybe 428 is from a reissued set with the aeroplane added. After 1914 more French cards have publisher/printer details on the address side.

Yolande isn't listed as one of Courier's marques in his 1914 directory entry, though I have seen other cards posted in 1912 and 1913 and the number indicates that card 17 is also a pre-war card. Courcier's post-WW1 directory entries are short and no longer list marques déposées.
